KINGS OF THRACE. Hebryzelmis, circa 389-383 BC. AE (Bronze, 18 mm, 3.86 g, 12 h). Bare head of bearded Hebryzelmis to left. Rev. ΕΒΡΥΖΕΛ-Μ-ΙΟΣ Forepart of a lion right, head facing; all within round incuse. HGC 3.2, 1692. Peykov B0420. Topalov 84. Rare. An exceptional example with a lovely green patina and a particularly powerful depiction of a lion. Minor smoothing, otherwise, extremely fine.
